AARON NEMANE has revealed when the chance to join Rangers came along, he simply couldn’t turn it down.
The 19-year old winger arrived on-loan from Manchester City towards the end of the summer transfer window in order to gain experience of life in and around a first-team squad.
He will remain here in Glasgow until January, and, he is desperate to make the most of his stay north of the Border.
He explained: “I spoke to my agent, I spoke to the people at City and then the people at Rangers who made it clear they wanted me, and you can’t say no to Rangers!
“I want to get some first-team experience as I’ve not had that at City. I’m a very direct player who likes to get on the ball, make chances, get assists and score goals.
“The training sessions are completely different to what they are like at City, as here I am training with senior professionals, and it is much faster and you have to be more clever.
“The physical aspect here too is more demanding than it was at City. It is always good to learn from experienced players and to learn from them and get some stuff from them in terms of the way they play.
“The manager has been good and is very, very demanding, and that’s what you want as he wants to win.”
Nemane’s debut came back on September 9, when he was handed the closing stages of the Dundee game to show what he could bring to the party.
That moment proved to be an exceptionally special one for Nemane, and he added: “It was a great moment for me, not only to make my debut for Rangers, but to make my professional debut too.
“Playing at Ibrox was a really big moment for me. Making my professional debut was something I had dreamed of and it was great.”
