If even half the rumours about our players are true we are going to be looking at massive change to the squad for next season , personally I`m not sure that having another total rebuild is a good idea. Its a bit long winded but here is the state of play according to the rumour mill.
Butland to return to the EPL for big fee.
McCrorie to leave to get more first team chances.
McLaughlin out of contract.
Tavernier , subject of a offer from Gerrard in Saudi .
Barisic out of contract and has agreed a deal in Turkey
Yilmaz wanted by big Turkish clubs for a decent fee.
Goldson ,subject of an offer from Gerrard in Saudi .
Balogun out of contract.
Davies , so far out the picture can`t even get on the bench , on his way back to the EFL .
Jack out of contract.
Lundstram out of contract , has been offered a deal but is supposedly in talks to go to Turkey
Raskin has become a bit part player , apparently not rated by Clement.
Cifuentes out on loan with a view to being sold
Lammers out on loan with a view to being sold
Hagi ,out on loan , future uncertain
Sima , not our player , can we afford to make him permanent ?
Cortes not our player , option to buy but has injury scuppered this ?
Wright not in squads since OF game , never been good enough .
Matondo , impact sub at best , does he have a future with us .
Dowell , lots of injuries , very little game time could return to EFL
Lawrence , not impressed since return from injury could return to EFL
Roofe out of contract
Silva not our player , will be returned , not worth fee that would be needed .
Plus youngsters like Devine, King and Lowry who may leave to get first team football and Lovelace who is rumoured to have refused a new contract .
Thats 23 players not counting the kids that currently have question marks over their Rangers futures come the summer , now I know that we won`t let them all go but it will be interesting what ones Clement will be able to keep and more to the point will want to keep.
