FOLLOWING supporter feedback via our Rangers Fan Survey the Club will be trialing a scheme to allow supporters who wish to smoke at half time the opportunity to do so.
Initially, the pilot project will operate in the Sandy Jardine Stand at half time in Sunday’s Match against Hamilton.
Please note the following exits for use in this pilot project:
Sandy Jardine Front – Gate 43
Sandy Jardine Rear – Gate 49
At half time stewards will be located at Gate 43 and 49, will allow supporters to go out into the designated smoking area and return via the same gates. This will be appropriately stewarded.
Rangers are keen to ensure supporters voices are being adequately heard within the club and are pleased to trial this opportunity to respond to an issue that was highlighted in supporter feedback.
If the pilot project is successful, and smoking is eliminated from inside the stadium then it is possible that smoking areas would be rolled out across the stadium.
Please note this area will only be available at half time and the club thanks our supporters for their continual feedback and help in creating a better match day experience at Ibrox.

.....superb. When drink was banned from grounds back in the day,my mate had one of first Camelback type hydration packs(cyclists and walkers use 'em,kinda slimline backpack full of water with a tube leading to your,er mooth).So he'd fill it with 1/4 bottle of Voddy,and a half litre bottle of Coke,and we'd both "stealth" sook all through game,avoiding backflow if possible,and any bits of pie that got in there.
